PBCGMEs Family Practice Residency joins its Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Internal Medicine Residencies with FIVE YEAR continuing approval by the AOA. PBCGMEs Internal Medicine Residents scored top in the country as they achieved the sixth highest cumulative score of all osteopathic IM programs in this years ACOI inservice examination.

PBCGME has been granted official Consortium designation status by AOA. A multifacility academic medical center with a passion for medical education, PBCGME is one of the longest standing osteopathic postgraduate training programs in Florida. With a total of 1,000 beds, in 2012 we admitted 37,425 patients, and saw 125,735 ED visits. Today, PBCGME is accredited for 124 positions in seven different postgraduate training programs.
